Senior Leadership Team

Matthew Dyball

Managing Director South Africa

Matthew has worked within security, retail and FMCG manufacturing for the past 32 years and has successfully developed loss prevention solutions throughout the supply chain both internationally and in South Africa. He started his career with the South African Police Service working in the Criminal Investigation Department before joining Lodge South Africa as the Loss Control Manager. He then moved to Gillette and Proctor & Gamble as the OSA Manager for 10 years in the Sub-Sahara Africa region before returning to work at Lodge Security.

Eddy Hopewell

Financial Director

Eddy had an all-encompassing banking career starting as a foreign exchange clerk at Standard Bank after completing Matric in 1974 and after working at Nedbank Ltd, ended up as Credit Manager at Standard Bank Head Office Johannesburg in January 1987.

Embarked on his own business venture in the financial arena until 1997 whereupon he was retrenched and started his own construction company until 1998. He was given an opportunity to start a liquor wholesale and distribution business which he ran until 2008.

He joined the Lodge Group as a Branch Accountant in 2008 and became the Financial Director of Lodge Security Services (Pty) Ltd in 2010.

Antoinette Heystek

Operations Director

Antoinette has worked in the Security Industry for the past 33 years. She joined the South African Police Service in 1984. She worked at several Police stations, District Offices and SAPS Head Office. She worked at the SAPS Dog Unit in Pretoria when she left the Police Service in 2001. After 5 years in working in Retail, Antoinette joined the Lodge South Africa team. She worked at the Pretoria Branch as a Debtors and Creditors clerk. In 2009 she moved to the Operations Team and in January 2010 Antoinette was appointed as Operations Manager for Lodge Security Services, South Africa. In 2015 she was appointed as Operations Director. Currently she is overseeing Operations, Human Resources and the UK Control room.

Patrick Njokweni

Client Liaison Director

Patrick Njokweni worked for Edgars Group Retailers Ltd for 15 years. He started his journey as a Security Officer in 1984 and was appointed to a Security Supervisor in 1986. From there he moved up through the ranks from Security Manager, Store Auditor to Store Audit Manager. During his time with the Edgars Group, he implemented various systems and procedures to control shrinkage. He joined Lodge Security in 1999 as the Loss Control Manager for Clicks warehouse. In 2002, he was appointed as an Area Manager whose main responsibility was to liaise with our clients. In 2009, he was appointed as Client Liaison Director.
